The results are in! A whopping 63 people applied for the fall 2014 blogging cohort, and we’re proud to introduce you to the four amazing women who will be writing for Go Girl Travel Network starting September 1st!
Meet our in-house mentor, Kayti Burt!
Kayti is a television blogger, photographer, and chronic vagabond. Growing up in rural New Hampshire, she didn’t have much opportunity to travel as a kid, but is making up for it as an adult. She had her first long-term experience abroad in Prague on a year-long study abroad program in college. More recently, she spent three months on the “Banana Pancake Trail” in Southeast Asia. As an introverted traveler, Kayti’s favorite way to explore the world is in long, involved adventures featuring plenty of museums, plays, and ambling walks with her Canon Rebel in one hand and her journal in the other. You can follow Kayti on Twitter and Google+ or read her column on Go Girl Travel Network.
And now, meet the fall blogging cohort!
Each traveler will write a monthly column on Go Girl Travel Network while learning and growing as a blogger. We’re so excited to have them with us and know you’ll love them too!
Lucy Copp
Lucy Copp is a native of the Ocean State, also known as Rhode Island. When Lucy was nine-years-old, her family took off to Quito, Ecuador where they lived for two years. More than simply a craving for travel and adventure, Lucy values independence and loves that rush of excitement and satisfaction she feels when she’s able to move around freely and confidently on her own. This September, she begins a Masters of Visual Anthropology at the University of Southern California to continue to satiate her love of Language and Culture
Paige Trubatch
Paige is a DIY and Renaissance Faire enthusiast with a keen interest in sustainable travel practices. Now that she’s got wheels of her own, she plans to explore more of her homeland with the windows down and radio up. She’s lived and worked in a few strange places, including a Dutch castle, a Colorado jail, and atop Nicaragua’s most active volcanoes.
Sabina Trojanova
Sabina is a travel blogger, twentysomething student and aspiring grownup. She has a passion for fashion, revels in her travels and is always in the mood for food. She also has a weakness for delicious cocktails and cute animals (boys included!). She is trying to make the whole world her home and her website, “Girl vs Globe”, is her progress report. You can also find her on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram.
Jill Robinson
Jill booked a one-way ticket to Scotland on a work visa after graduation and has suffered from wanderlust ever since. In Edinburgh and York, England she learned to pour a proper pint of beer, and in Costa Rica she learned to surf and drive ATVs through a jungle at dangerous speeds. Her most recent trips included a solo-backpacking excursion through Spain and a surreal week in Guatemala. Back home in Chicago, Jill now satisfies her itchy travel feet as Greenheart Travel’s marketing manager. When she’s not traveling, she is hoarding jars for all her DIY home remedies and herbal concoctions. You can follow Jill on Twitter and Instagram.
