For the last six years, WITS has been bringing together some of travel’s top talent and this year is no exception. We’re excited to introduce you to our opening keynote panelists!
Jada Yuan, Angie Orth, Carol Cain, and Alexandra Baackes will be taking the stage on Saturday, May 4th to kick off our summit bright and early.
“There has been so much conversation about authenticity in influencer marketing these days, and it hasn’t all been positive,” says Beth Santos, Founder and CEO of Wanderful. “That’s why we wanted to make this conversation center stage, and I’m so glad that Jada, Angie, Carol, and Alexandra will be leading that dialogue for us.”
The four women have established illustrious careers within the travel space and will be sharing key insights from their experiences. Jada Yuan circumnavigated the globe in 2018 as the inaugural 52 Places Traveler for The New York Times. Before that, she spent over a decade at New York Magazine and its websites as a contributing editor and culture features writer. Angie Orth is a recovering agency publicist with more than 15 years in the marketing industry and 13 years as an award-winning content creator. Alexandra Baackes is the founder of Alex in Wanderland, a travel blog that has partnered with household name travel brands around the world, from Kayak to Enterprise to Capital One and beyond. Finally, Carol Cain is the Founder and CEO of Brave World Media, a social media marketing and brand development agency aimed at improving the landscape of travel media with true diversity and inclusion.
“WITS is known for being a conference where magic happens, so while I’m honored to be a keynote speaker, I’m just as excited to meet and learn from the women in attendance. It’s going to be an unforgettable conference – I hope Portland is ready!” shared Angie Orth.
