The Giveaway: The Endless by Diane Kroe

Diane Kroe’s motto for her clothing collection is, “Have fun and travel light,” and she’s not joking around. Her beautiful, convertible pieces are made from a fabric that’s perfect for travelers: light, machine (or hotel sink) washable, and quick-drying.
Did we mention they’re convertible? From wrap tops to chiffon dresses, toss one piece into your carry-on, and you’ve got an outfit for the beach, a dinner party, and that beautiful cathedral you’ve been meaning to visit.
And we’re giving one away! Read more below to enter. But note: The giveaway ends on December 19.
The List
Wines of the World Club, US $39.99/mo, Recommended by Laura H.
For those wine lovers who love to try something new, a Wines of the World monthly Membership is a thoughtful and fun gift. Members are shipped two bottles of wine from different countries each month. Pair them with cheese, or drink them straight; these wines are delicious!
In Her Kitchen: Stories and Recipes from Grandmas Around the World, US $20.25 (Amazon), Recommended by Beth S.
Photo from Amazon.com.
Topping my list (besides a Go Girl membership) is the new book, In Her Kitchen: Stories and Recipes from Grandmas Around the World.
After sitting down to his favorite dinner with his grandmother, photographer Gabriele Galimberti was inspired. He set out to get the very best homemade dishes from grandmothers in 60 countries around the world — homemade lox by a grandmother in Sweden, roasted spiced chicken by a grandmother in Zambia, and more. His captivating photos tell the tales — a feast for the eyes and tummy alike.

Salmon Sisters Clothing, Recommended by Hannah H.
The Salmon Sisters are two environmentally conscious young women from small-town Alaska. Their line of cute and originally designed clothing is perfect for that rugged woman in your life who also has a penchant for fashion. Claire and Emma of SS are both fisherwomen and market their own fresh, wild-caught Alaskan seafood in addition to their trendy threads.
Lifesavers Hard Candies, Recommended by Sam W.
Photo from Amazon.com.
This is a little thing for many people but a big thing for me: I can get nauseated by the slightest whiff of something. That walkway from the terminal to the plane can trigger it. Coach buses can trigger it. Diesel exhaust can trigger it. My parents got into the habit of carrying fruit-flavored hard candies around because I wouldn’t get nauseated while sucking on them. I still carry candies around now, especially when traveling. Pro tip: Pick candies that are individually wrapped. Depending on where you go, candies that aren’t individually wrapped might become one very large candy…
Flower of India Bag, $24.50, Recommended by Laura H.

Give a gift that also supports international communities. The Flower of India Bag, made by a local group in India, is from Ten Thousand Villages, a fair trade retailer. It makes a lovely accessory to a night out on the town.
Ristretto Laptop Bag, US $140, Recommended by Laura H.

This laptop bag also functions as a great zippered travel bag/purse. Perfect for the travel blogger! It fits a 13” MacBook Pro/Air or smaller. It has a padded compartment and an additional front zippered pouch to hold all of your travel necessities. There’s even a magazine slot in the back!
Flag Scarf, US $10, Recommended by Laura H.

This scarf, designed by Vision Wear International, is both affordable and perfect for the frequent traveler who loves to represent the world. A fun accessory, at just $10 you could probably get one for all your friends!
Birchbox, US $10/mo, Recommended by Melinda C.

You’re tired of funneling shampoo into a tiny container to meet TSA regulations. You’d like to try out eye shadow in crazy colors but don’t want to risk your budget on it. You love getting mail. For these reasons and many more, you should check out Birchbox, a mail subscription service for only $10 a month.
Each box is filled with samples of high-quality products like moisturizer, dry shampoo, eye liner, nail polish, even chocolate! The sample sizes are perfect for travelers, and every box feels like a gift from a friend. You can try out something new while stockpiling a selection of favorites!
Klean Kanteen Vacuum Insulated Bottle, US $24.95, Recommended by Paige T.
Perfect for the Go Girl in your life who loves her coffee, but not how fast that cup of Joe turns cold during long stints traveling in planes, trains, and automobiles.
Why I’m in love: A stainless steel, vacuum insulated design means this bottle is lightweight, easy to clean, and doesn’t leave old flavors behind to mess with your future enjoyment. It keeps drinks hot for 6 hours (It’s a holiday miracle!) or cold for 24 hours, and the cafe cap is available for separate purchase to easily switch between your travel mug and water bottle needs.
With many rich colors to choose from, scope out your local outdoor retailer for sales and promotions for the best deal on this Go Girl essential.
Go Girl Membership, US $39
What’s better than being connected to an international community of like-minded female traveler? In our opinion, pretty much nothing.
That’s why, starting in January 2015, Go Girl will be launching a membership program for our traveling sisterhood. Benefits include special discounts with global and local chapter partners (coffee shops, luggage companies, hotels, you name it), exclusive access to members-only events, a discount to the Women in Travel Summit, a membership card, and more.
Pre-orders are coming soon, just in time for the holidays. Click here to be notified when they are.
