Meet Jeannie Mark of Nomadic Chick, an empowered traveler taking on the world and encouraging others to do the same. Jeannie once had a thriving corporate career that was going places, but deep down she longed for more.  After swearing to change her life on a file folder, she sold all her possessions in 2010 and bought a one-way ticket to India.

Through Nomadic Chick, Jeannie tries to inspire women to take the same leap with their lives by writing about her experiences with honesty, humor and soul.  Her aim is to show women that they can participate in adventure with joy and curiosity, and carve out a creative, passionate path.  In September 2011, she completed the longest continuous train journey with the Ultimate Train Challenge.

Some of her partnerships have been with EurailReal RussiaVayamaHostelBookers and Roomorama, Her writing has appeared in Matador and Tripbase. This past year, she spoke about her journey of solo travel at the Asian Women’s Empowerment Conference in Malaysia.

Our team at Go Girl is excited to have Jeannie join us for our first-ever Women in Travel Summit from March 14-16, 2014, and can’t wait to hear her words and advice for female travel bloggers everywhere.
