I’ve seen subways that were no cute (Rio de Janeiro)

I’ve seen subways with a funny accent (Milan)

I’ve seen subways that were more of an attraction (Paris)

I’ve seen subways that were a bit stinky (Buenos Aires)

I’ve seen subways that were silly (Brasília)

I’ve seen subways with a history (Berlin)

I’ve seen subways which were also touristic (Madrid)

I’ve seen subways with rats that were a bit of a creep  (Munich)

I’ve seen subways which cost cheap (Prague)

I’ve seen subways that were very crowded (Beijing)

I’ve seen subways that were uncrowded (Athens)

I’ve seen subways in which one line

Several routes align (Brussels)

I’ve lived in a city

Where subways were not needed (Geneva)

But I’ve never seen a subway

That had a lot of love to say.
